Dr. Lynna Meadows
PhD, LPC-S
Dr. Lynna Meadows is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Private Practice, Ft. Payne,
Alabama. She also is a licensed Supervisory LPC and supervises ALC counselors for their LPC
licenses. She holds a BS from the University of Alabama in Child Development, Master’s in
General Counseling from Alabama State University, and a PhD in Counseling Philosophy,
specializing in Behavioral Health, from International University of Graduate Studies. Dr.
Meadows is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Her involvement with the American Counseling Association (ACA) includes Past President,
National Military and Government Counseling Association (MGCA), Governing Council
Representative, ACA Board of Directors, and President Elect of the National Employment
Counseling Association (NECA). She has served on the ACA Professional Standards
Committee and the ACA Financial Affairs Committee. She received the 2015 Association
of Counselors and Educators in Government “Professional of the Year Award” at the ACA
Conference, Orlando, FL, and the Military and Government “Lifetime Achievement Award” in
2019 at the ACA Conference in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Meadows began her private practice, Comprehensive Counseling Associates, LLC, in
Montgomery, AL in 2006, and has practiced counseling continuously, moving to Ft. Payne, AL
in 2020. Clients come for personal issues including stress, depression, grief, employment issues,
self-esteem, military issues and PTSD, empowerment, grief, addiction, relationships and
marriage counseling.

Alejandra Perez
Alejandra graduated from Fort Payne High School in 2021; she was a also a leader in her JROTC program. She took several leadership roles and opportunities throughout her time at school. She has served her community as a volunteer in several events. Alejandra is proficient in both English and Spanish, working with our counselors to communicate with our non English speaking clients. Her unique background allows her to understand our Latino families in a deeper manner. She enjoys reading and connecting Latinos with her language to resources. Her goal is to provide Latinos with the opportunity to heal and grow both personally and in family. Serving Clients since 2023

Licensed Professional Counselor
Barry Camp, LPC
Barry is licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. Barry provides services face-to-face and via telemedicine.
Barry received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University in Criminal Justice with a minor in Corrections and a concentration in Forensic Science. He received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) from Liberty University.
Barry has been providing counseling services since 2021. He has experience with children, families, anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, couples/marriage, career counseling, and grief.
Barry uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help his patients achieve their goals by helping the patient identify negative cognitive patterns and gain a better understanding of how their thoughts influence their behaviors. Barry strives to provide an environment where the patient and counselor work together to achieve patient goals.
Barry also provides biblical based counseling services for those seeking it. He works with the patient to integrate biblical principles with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide the patient with a perspective of how their thoughts influence their behaviors and how biblical principles can help provide restoration and healing.

Associate Licensed Counselor
Angela Wade, ALC
Angela is a clinical mental health counselor intern from Boaz, AL. Her goal is to serve the community by providing safe, nonjudgmental, and comforting services where clients can feel free to discuss anything they have on their minds. Angela has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Athens State University with a minor in Human Development. She also is C.A.S.T. certified in Child Advocacy through Athens State University. She received her counseling degree from Grand Canyon University and has a Master of Science in Professional Counseling. Angela enjoys working with children and adolescents and she welcomes adults with her experience in substance abuse and trauma while providing counseling services under the direct supervision of Dr. Lynna Meadows. She has Proudly served our clients since 2022

Licensed Professional Counselor
Rhonda Niemeyer, LPC, NCC
Rhonda Niemeyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing clinical mental telehealth within the state of Alabama. She is also a Certified National Counselor, Mental Health Telehealth Certified, and Youth Mental Health First Aid Certified. She is a graduate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and is currently attending doctoral classes at Walden University.
Ms. Niemeyer is an active member of the American Counseling Association, National Board of Certified Counselors, National Employment Counseling Association, and Postpartum Depression Coalition. She advocates and speaks on behalf of the impact of mental health within the community, education system, and workforce as a guest speaker with Greater Leadership Huntsville, mentor with the North Alabama Society of Human Resources, and student mentor with Calhoun Community College.
Ms. Niemeyer has more than 18 years of career and college counseling experience and four years of focus on anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum depression, relationship problems, and trauma. She began practicing as a counselor in training in 2018, transitioned to an Associate Licensed Professional Therapist with Awake Therapy in 2022, and joined Comprehensive Counseling Associates in 2024. She works with clients ages six and up struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship conflict by exploring what clients experience and creating a collaborative treatment plan to empower clients, alleviate symptoms, and restore mental and emotional health

Certified Nurse Practitioner
John Moore, CRNP
Mr. John Moore started his medical career as a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman in 1990, and served in Desert Storm with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines.
He became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1998
Mr. Moore obtained a Master of Science degree in nursing in 2012 and was certified as a Nurse Practitioner in 2013.
Most recently Mr. John Moore opened a family practice in Valley Head, Alabama, to bring exceptional family friendly medicine back to his rural community. North DeKalb Primary Care (NDPC) offers services for patients 2 years old through adulthood. Mr. Moore says, “NDPC brings a down home feel to medicine. Our motto ‘where you are treated like family’ allows you to be treated with kindness and respect not like a number.” John has proudly served our clients since 2022.

Ashlie Combs, M.Ed, ALC, VEFC
Ashlie C. Combs M.Ed, ALC, VEFC

Mrs. Ashlie Combs served in the United States Army from 2003 to 2012 and was honorably discharged. During her service she was deployed to Iraq in 2007 with the 10th MNT.
Ashlie graduated from Ashford University with her bachelor’s in Behavioral Sciences. She graduated from Auburn University with her Master's degree In Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and received her Vocational Expert Forensic Certification.
Ashlie is a certified veteran treatment court mentor and coordinator through PhsycArmory and Justice for Vets since 2017. She is a lifetime member of the DAV, VFW, and an active Service Officer with the American Legion post 71 out of Attalla.
Ashlie has experience with CBT, DBT, ABA therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder, disability orientation, substance misuse using AA Blue Book rehabilitation counseling, and approaches therapy as individualized therapy plans. No two people are going to have the same experience and therapy sessions should be tailored to the clients needs.

Masters Level Counseling Intern
Terry Payne
Terry Payne is a counseling intern under the supervision of Dr. Lynna Meadows, PhD, LPC-S.

Terry is an Intern from Sylvania, Alabama and is currently studying at the University of West Alabama working towards a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's degree. He received his bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Athens State University in 2018. His background begins in psychology and sociology, and he has studied many types of counseling like cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, solution focused therapy, and Adlerian therapy. He hopes to continue his education and earn a doctorate in psychology and eventually teach counseling too.
He has a strong desire to help individuals from all walks of life and wants to help people make positive life changes and accomplish their goals. He has experience working with adults and children and can incorporate person-centered therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness. Building strong relationships with his clients is important to him. Having a support system is a big factor in accomplishing goals and the therapeutic relationship can play a big factor in a support system. He also wants to help those with all types of addictions including, drugs, alcohol, nicotine, food, sex, gambling, and shopping. He also has plans to start an addiction support group.
